Fly Fishing for Brook Trout in the High Mountain Streams of Southwest Virginia
This is a great guided fly fishing trip to test your skills. Narrow, small streams and lots of overhanging trees make this a bit of a technical trip even for experienced fly casters. We suggest 2-3wt, 6′ to 7.5′ fly rods. The brook trout is one of the most challenging and beautiful fish to explore. We have extensive knowledge of local mountain streams and would love to share this unique experience of catching the Eastern Brook Trout with you.
Tailwater Trout Fly Fishing Trips
The Pound River is one of Southwest Virginia’s best kept secrets and for good reason. The Pound is a year round tailwater fishery, producing plenty of large Rainbows and Browns. Generally, this is a technical, but very rewarding fishery and can produce amazing fish. This is definitely one of the most rewarding trout fisheries in the state.
Clinch River Floats
One of our favorite guided fly fishing trips! Guided float trips down one of the most diversified rivers in world, The Mighty Clinch. Among the game fish in the river are the Prized Musky, smallmouth bass, spotted bass, walleye, largemouth bass & black crappie. We seat two anglers plus a guide. Floats are limited to a full day. We can also accommodate spin anglers if you prefer not to use the fly rod, or if your companion does not fly fish.
Still Water Trophy Kayak Trips
Light tackle opportunities also are abundant on our many reservoirs and lakes. There is a vast array of game fish species including: Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Hybrid Striped Bass, Channel Catfish, Flathead Catfish, Crappie, Bluegill, Rock Bass, Common Carp, Muskellunge, and Rainbow Trout.
